A sweet antique Victorian heart locket made in Birmingham in the late 19th Century. It’s fashioned in 9ct gold and chased with scrolling, foliate artistry on both sides along with ivy leaves representing everlasting love.  

It’s complete with hallmarks and the maker’s mark on the back along with a shield engraved with a previous owner’s monogram. It was clearly a much beloved piece and still contains original photographs inside of a finely dressed man and woman who were perhaps husband and wife.
